Literature Text

I find your beauty entrancing,
Your smile having far greater radiance than any stars on any star chart,
And your voice smoother than the finest silk of Tibet,
And I feel that you are what's missing
From the empty void in my chest that I call my heart,
But it's so hard to talk to you, although its been a long while since we first met.

Oftentimes, I find it hard to sleep,
Because if I fall asleep, I would dream of you,
And I would face a great pain once I awaken,
Is this madness, or is this love? My mind simply cannot compute,
My feelings for you, in this lonely heart I keep,
And these feelings form a melodious song in my heart that rings true,
Although this song is silent, I always hope that you will hearken,
To the tune that plays across my heart strings like a lute.

How much longer can I keep silent?
How much longer can I keep playing this tune?
It is not for me to say, For this heart beats,
It beats for her, for you,
I guess I'll just have to be patient,
For roses do not bloom on the first moon,
And one night was not enough for mankind to achieve their feats,
So I will wait, for it is the only thing I can do.
Didn't know what else to write about, so here you go: a sappy love poem.
